Butterflies are having a hard time. Help your customer with the butterfly friendly garden.
Monday, May 4, 2020
Butterflies regularly end up in the consumer's garden in search of food and shelter. Help create a garden full of butterflies and provide your customer with butterfly-friendly items.
Shelter with butterfly boxes
Our butterfly boxes made of FSC® wood provide a place for butterflies to hide and spend the night. Butterflies are cold-blooded. They get energy from the sun and therefore prefer to sit in sheltered places where they can warm up. When it is windy or raining, butterflies look for these places, to wait for better weather or to overwinter. Also inform your customers about the use of twigs or withered leaves to fill the bottom of the butterfly box, so the butterflies can hang on to it.
Purchase the boxes in advance so that the summer butterflies that are going to fly in July can immediately find a place in your customer's garden.

Attract butterflies
Attracting butterflies is best done in a nutrient-rich environment with native flowers from early spring to late summer. Besides nectar from flowers, some butterflies eat other foods, such as (rotting) fruit. Our butterfly feeder offers space for liquid nectar and fruit to attract butterflies. The bowl has a hook for easy hanging in the garden. And did you know that the colour yellow makes our products extra attractive for butterflies?
Decorative items for all butterfly lovers
