In the run-up to our new catalog, we gave you a highlight of one or more items in their development phase every Wednesday. On the cover: Raised beds
Growing herbs, vegetables and fruits yourself is totally trending. The raised bed is therefore one of the best-selling products within the Esschert's Garden collection. Because of the ideal working height of the new growing tables, maintaining a vegetable garden is made easy for everyone. We therefore took the plunge and designed something that suits everyone and every type of garden! For example, the narrow raised beds fit easily in a small city garden or on the balcony. In addition, the large and deep versions are especially suitable for the professional vegetable gardener. The trellis, which you can buy separately, can also be attached to a raised bed to give plant shoots for example, something to hold on to. The beds are all supplied with rootcloth and have, except for the children's version, a tray at the bottom for storage of tools or accessories. The raised beds are made of FSC ® wood and can be ordered in a natural and a brown shade.
Housing for birds and insects
The special series of nesting boxes and insect houses have thick walls with grooves and a roughened interior. These give good isolation and make it easier for young birds to climb out of the nest box. The overhanging roof protects against wind and rain. The side walls are also extended downwards so that no water nuisance can occur. And for the real nature lovers, it is certainly not unimportant that all these 7 cabinets (for the sparrow, blue tit, great tit, butterfly, ladybug and the bee) all come in a nice gift box with product information and an instruction. This makes the nesting boxes even more attractive to take home or give as a present! PS. The bee house comes with a handy cleaning brush!
