Sneak Peek Wednesday: gardening with kids!
Wednesday, October 28, 2020
Normally we exhibit our products at trade fairs. Because the traditional fairs are hardly or not organized at the moment, we come up with an alternative: Sneak Peek Wednesday. Every Sneak Peek Wednesday we try to surprise you with a new product or a tip of the veil from the spring and summer collection of 2021.*
In 2021 we come with new, surprising products to complement the existing 'Kids in the Garden' collection. The products in this product line encourage children to play and work outside. We don't reveal all the products yet, but we'll give you a tip of the shutter in this Sneak Peek Wednesday. All ‘Kids in the garden’products are intended for active (outdoor) play.
Gardening & growing with kids
In an earlier edition of Sneak Peek Wednesday, we talked about our new raised beds, or 'raised vegetable gardens'. The raised beds allow gardening on any soil, even on a compact surface like a city balcony. How fun would it be to work in the garden together with the kids?
That's why we add the kids version of the raised beds to the 'Kids in the Garden' collection. Designed in such a way that even the youngest ones can work with it. The raised beds are just like the large version equipped with a carrot cloth to prevent soil from falling out and to make weeds easier to remove.
Enjoy the season longer together
The raised beds allow plants to be placed closer together, they keep them nice and warm and control the humidity level as well. Together this ensures that the sowing, planting and potting season lasts longer and makes multiple harvests per season possible. Because you don't walk on the ground the roots can grow easier and faster. In this way the whole family can enjoy the outdoors together even longer.
