As soon as the weather changes and autumn arrives, it becomes more difficult for many birds to find enough food. Esschert Design has a wide range of possibilities within the Best for Birds collection for consumers to give these birds a helping hand. New for example is the series of Chiffchaff feed silos. Not only very handy for different types of food, but also a real eye catcher in the garden!

The Chiffchaff is a common olive-coloured bird in the Netherlands and Belgium. It gets its name from the very distinctive sound it makes. You probably guessed it: it sounds a bit like "chiff-chaff". The feeding silos are inspired by the colour of the Chiffchaff and its silhouette is also incorporated in the design.

The feeding silos are available in various designs: silos with or without perches or a bottom tray, silos with an open structure for suetballs, those with a somewhat finer structure for nuts, and the silos for seed mixes & sunflower seeds have a plastic casing and openings on the side. The openings ensure a measured quantity of feed.

The silos are also easy to fill by sliding the lid upwards. At the top of the silos is a bracket, making it very easy to hang up in the garden.

Esschert Design also has a very handy plastic suetblock holder. This is made from the same material as the feeding silos.
