Let’s celebrate National Peanut Butter Day!

Peanut butter, who doesn’t love it? It had been on our breakfast tables for decades. All the more reason to create an annual National Peanut Butter Day. Do you celebrate with us on January 24.?
We are not the only ones who love peanut butter. Birds love it too! The peanut butter people eat, is tailored to the nutritional needs of humans and that's why we brought special bird peanut butter on the market in 2013. An outright hit, birds have already eaten more than 10 million (!) jars of bird peanut butter.
Is it recommended to feed bird peanut butter in stead of regular peanut butter?
Yes, the answer is short but simple. Although birds like our peanut butter, it is not healthy for them. Normal peanut butter contains roasted peanuts, which get less well digested. But apart from that, normal peanut butter contains too much salt. Birds have problems to excrete this concentration of salt and are very sensitive to salt intoxication.
Peanut butter walhalla in the garden
With our bird peanut butter products every garden or balcony becomes a true walhalla for birds. Pick the glass mug, which you only have to hang up. After use, just clean it and use it again. Our peanut butter jars
are supplied with a lockable lid. The jar is easy to place in a peanut butter house and can be easily attached to a fence, tree or wall. Birds can enjoy a their meal in a sheltered way.
Are there predators like squirrels or crows lurking? It might be a good idea to pick a protective holder then. The design prevents large animals from having access to the jar, but allows small birds to access and snack. The flap on the front ensures that it can be refilled over and over again.
Vary with peanut butter
Surprise birds next to the standard
variety with pieces of nuts with a pot full of fruits
or forest fruits. Just as nutritious and healthy and of course very tasty.
Not only birds love peanut butter, also the aforementioned predators such as squirrels love it. We like to keep all garden friends happy and so we thought of special squirrel peanut butter. Specially tailored to the feed needs and for a nice warm extra layer of fat in the cold winter months.
