We can finally share the news with you; we have merged with Fallen Fruits Ltd, a well-known family business in the UK, with years of experience in producing and distributing quality, sustainable and trendy products. Fallen Fruits Ltd was already the exclusive distributor for Esschert Design and is now officially part of our company. This merger allows us to strengthen our position and increase our knowledge of the UK market and also provides you with even better high-quality products and services. Who are Fallen Fruits?

Fallen Fruits Ltd is a family business that, like Esschert Design, has been around since 1993. Back then, Fallen Fruits Ltd were renowned for their specialisation in producing gift items such as wooden twig pencils, twig whistles, pen holders, birdhouses and the first variant of Mr Grass Head in hedgehog form (or as the British call the hedgehog with grass hair "Germinating Jimmy"). The company has a wealth of experience in providing products based on quality, durability and trend, and has continued to innovate with Esschert Design over the years. Up until the 1^st of April, Fallen Fruits Ltd has been the exclusive distributor for Esschert Design.

Besides our headquarters in The Netherlands, we already have subsidiaries in Denmark (Gardenlife), the United States (Esschert Design USA), Lithuania and China (Esschert Design Far East), and we currently export to more than 70 countries worldwide. From 1^st April 2023, Fallen Fruits Ltd is also part of Esschert Design, strengthening our position in the market.

The aim of the company merge is to grow further in the UK by being able to offer a wider collection, having a larger international stock level and freeing up more sourcing and purchasing opportunities FOB from Eastern Europe and Asia. In addition to this, UK customers can now look for items in the Dutch showroom and at international trade fairs.

The Fallen Fruits Ltd name, personnel and Ludlow-based business will otherwise remain unchanged, with UK stock ready for fast delivery.

In addition, there are shorter lines and product information is more readily available and up-to-date.
