Our Garden Tools collection has lots of handy basics that no gardener or grower can do without. This range of essential products are all made from sustainable, biodegradable and/or recycled materials. Also, the packaging of these products is all plastic-free and the paper wrappers and hangtags are printed with water-based inks! Take a look below at some of these new products that will make it even easier for your customer to start with his (mini) vegetable garden.

Biodegradable grow pots

These new growing pots are ideal for growing vegetables, herbs and flowers. When the seedlings are big enough, they can be transplanted to the garden. The 3 sizes of the pots are made of recycled paper pulp and are therefore fully biodegradable. They dissolve completely in a short time and the roots, which are therefore undamaged, can easily expand further in the soil. The pots are stacked per 18 or 24 and packed with a paper wrapper.

The growing trays are (figuratively speaking) cut from the same wood as the paper growing pots and offer space for planting more or different seeds and seedlings. In fact, the trays fit exactly in the matching greenhouses. Although the greenhouses are made of plastic, they are the 100% recycled kind.

Peat-free growing medium

Traditionally, potting soil consists largely of dried peat, with added nutrients such as dried manure or artificial fertiliser. However, our soluble tablets are made from natural coconut fibres with starting fertiliser and are therefore completely peat-free! Peatlands absorb twice as much CO2 as the world's forests. But by destroying this peat landscape for use as potting soil, the CO2 emission suddenly increases considerably. Using coco tablets is therefore a much more sustainable choice. With the tablets, your customer also immediately has the right amount to put in the growing pots and the structure of the fibres holds the water well. The grow pots with tablets are an ideal basis for seedlings and very suitable for making children enthusiastic about nature and gardening from an early age.

Sustainable mini-greenhouse

The grow boxes of 100% recycled material (in sizes S and L) are the ideal mini-greenhouse for seedlings. The various sizes of the growing trays fit well in the matching greenhouses. This makes it easier to start your vegetable garden indoors and to transfer your cuttings or seedlings to the larger (vegetable) garden in just a few steps. The mini greenhouses are provided with adjustable ventilation holes and fit because of their size perfectly on the windowsill.

A complete sustainable basic range

The basic gardening range easily fills 4 metres of shelves and is extra attractive due to its purely plastic-free packaging. The products that require a wrapper or hangtag get one made of paper and printed with water-based ink.
