A helping hand for the plant: plant supports
Wednesday, December 23, 2020
Some plants grow so fast, that they can use a little support to stay up. Weather influences such as rain, wind and hail are also disastrous for garden plants.
A plant support is therefore a good idea. But which support does the customer choose for which plant? Even though, during these short and dark days, it still seems far away, it’s time to prepare for spring 2021. Offer your customer a wide range and the best advice.
Half round
The half round plant support is the classic among plant supports. The cast iron support consists of one piece and provides good support for plants and full bushes. The half round shape is also very suitable to give shape to a border border.
2D
The 2D plant support, as the name suggests, is a flat support. Ideal for climbing plants in the garden. The 2D plant supports have a rusty finish and are embellished at the top with ornamental curls and other elements such as French lilies or birds.
Spiral/straight
The spiral plant support or straight plant support is a simple 2D variant. Very suitable for example for Jasmine or peas. In the vegetable garden this variant is also very handy for pepper or tomato plants. The cast iron variations are available individually or in an assortment with various decorative elements.
Open circle
The open circular plant support not only looks very nice in the garden because of the black finish, it is also very practical. The cast iron circle has an opening, so moving the support or branches is very easy. Especially Peonies and Dhalia's benefit a lot from this circle variant.
Tower 3D
The tower support is a 3D plant support and therefore offers support on several sides. Ideal for roses and climbing plants. The tower support is available in a variant with French lily or a birdat the top.
